Dual directional couplers (also known as bidirectional couplers) are passive devices used to couple a portion of the transmitted power in a transmission line. We offer dual directional couplers with the bandwidth, high directivity, and high power that designers need in demanding applications. RF bidirectional couplers typically use two transmission lines close together so that energy passing through one transmission line can be coupled to the other transmission line. Dual directional couplers have forward and reverse coupled ports. These dual directional couplers are called forward couplers and reverse couplers, depending on the type of coupling port that is coupled to the forward or reverse port.
Topwave dual directional RF couplers are available with Type N, 7/16DIN or 4.3/10 connectors, coupling values is 6dB,8dB,10 dB,,15dB,20 dB and 30 dB. Topwave dual directional RF couplers are rated at 200w and have frequency ratings ranging from 698MHz to 6000MHz.
